Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
This policy explains what information Parameter ("we", "us") collects when you visit parameter.digital or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
When you request a discovery call, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name, email address, and business name
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it
- What you'd like to automate, in your own words
- The date and time you'd prefer, and your time zone (detected by your browser so we can read the time correctly)
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
When you type your email address, the form checks it to catch typos and fake addresses. First it confirms that your email's domain (the part after the @, such as example.com) can receive mail and isn't a throwaway email service; only the domain is checked, on our own website's server. When you finish typing, your full address may also be sent to our email verification provider, Abstract API, which checks that the mailbox exists without sending it an email. It's used only for that check.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and the site doesn't set cookies of its own. If you add a call to your calendar, that happens in your own calendar app; we don't receive anything back from it.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, confirm or reschedule a call, and follow up on that conversation
- To prepare for the call and, if you become a customer, to provide our services
- To keep the site and our communications secure, including filtering spam
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Website hosting and form handling: our hosting provider stores form submissions and delivers them to us.
- Email: our email provider stores the messages we send and receive.
- Email verification: Abstract API checks that the email address you enter on our form exists.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable business records. If you don't become a customer, you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. To make a request, email hello@parameter.digital. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to work with you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
